JDCSI Congratulates the New Bishop of CSI Madras Diocese
The Jaffna Diocese of the Church of South India (JDCSI) joyfully congratulates Rt. Rev. Paul Francis Ravichandran on his consecration as the 14th Bishop of the CSI Madras Diocese.
On behalf of the Diocese, Rt. Rev. Dr. V. Pathmathayalan, Bishop of JDCSI, extends warm greetings and prayers for a Spirit-led episcopal ministry.
We give thanks to God for this historic moment held on 3rd August 2025 at St. George’s Cathedral, Chennai. The Jaffna and Madras Dioceses share a long-standing fraternal bond rooted in mission, faith, and mutual support.
We look forward to continuing our partnership in ministry, theological exchange, and shared witness in South Asia.
