Dear members of our beloved diocese,
As we stand on the threshold of a new year, let us carry the timeless wisdom of Psalm 138:7 in our hearts. “Though I walk in the midst of trouble, you preserve my life; you stretch out your hand against the wrath of my enemies, and your right hand delivers me.”
In the coming year, let this verse be our guiding light. As we traverse the journey of life, facing uncertainties and challenges, may we find solace in the assurance that the Lord’s unwavering love preserves our lives. In times of trouble, His hand reaches out to shield us from the storms that may threaten to overwhelm. The promise of deliverance is our anchor, grounding us in faith and hope.
As a diocese, let us be united in prayer and purpose. Let the echoes of this verse resonate in our gatherings, reminding us of the strength that comes from our shared faith. In moments of joy, let us give thanks, and in times of trial, let us seek refuge in the divine hand that delivers.
May the coming year be marked by a deepening of our spiritual journey, a strengthening of our community bonds, and a steadfast commitment to the teachings of love, compassion, and service. Together, let us walk boldly into the future, knowing that we are preserved and delivered by the grace of the Almighty.
Wishing you a blessed and joyous New Year!
In Faith and Fellowship,
The Rt Rev. Dr V. Pathmathayalan,
