Introduction: The Centre for Holistic Healing orchestrated a remarkable event in Mankulam on May 4, 2024, hosting a free medical camp that garnered significant participation and benefit. Under the auspices of the Jaffna Diocese of the Church of South India, the Centre for Holistic Healing project, funded by “the Solitary Strength – Palmyra project” in Switzerland, organized a free mobile medical clinic on May 4th, 2024, at Mankulam. The event, held at Mankulam, saw the participation of around 200 individuals from neighboring villages who benefited from the program.
Event Overview: The inauguration, led by The Rt Rev Dr V. Pathmathayalan, marked the beginning of a day dedicated to providing essential healthcare services to the community. accompanied by Rev. Sathes Daniel, Diocesan Secretary, and Mr. Joe Inparaj, Diocesan Treasurer. The presence and leadership of these esteemed individuals set a tone of compassion and dedication for the day’s proceedings.
Beneficiary Participation: The impact of the medical camp was profound, with approximately 250 beneficiaries from diverse demographics, including children, elderly individuals, youths, women, and men, actively participating and benefiting from the services offered.
Acknowledgment: A special appreciation is extended to the dedicated doctors and medical team, Vanni Area Minister Rev. K.S. Joseph, and Bishop’s Chaplain Rev. T.
